I've been in the leather trade for some 30 years now- from Santa Cruz, California in the 1980's to the Florida Keys through 2000, and currently in Tallahassee, Florida.

This site is dedicated to my unique line of belts featuring the original Hook belt, designed for both men and women. The leather I use is the finest available in this country. It is thick enough to avoid stretching, yet supple enough to insure comfort. Edges and billets are dyed with an acrylic black finish to prevent bleeding, and are stitched with an industrial weight #138 nylon thread. To seal in the natural oils and prevent them from drying out, finished belts are treated with "Apple Polish". I use only solid brass or nickel-plated solid brass rivets and snaps. Many of my buckles are sailing hardware - solid brass, bronze, or stainless steel.
